Our expertise

Founder's word

“I created Poseydonia for cargo where standard logistics is not enough.

Such projects have no standard solutions and the cost of a mistake is too high — so I run every project personally.”

Boris Gunchev

In 11 years in marine shipping I have seen how costly mistakes in project cargo are: a wrongly calculated deck load, an unsuitable vessel, an unchecked berth. That is why I start not with finding a vessel, but with the cargo.

I deliberately take on a small number of projects a year so that I take part in each myself rather than passing it down the chain. Engineering calculations and port operations are carried out by proven specialists I have worked with for many years, but I am the one answerable to the client for the result.

Our principles

01

Precise calculation

The price accounts for everything up front. If we miss something, that is our responsibility — the cost to the client will not increase.

02

Presence on the quay

Our representative is personally present at every loading and discharge. We see the operation with our own eyes, not through reports.

03

A choice, not a single offer

We prepare several options — with different vessels, schedules and budgets — so the client chooses knowingly.

04

Non-standard tasks

We take on cargo and routes with no ready-made scheme and build the solution for the specific project.

The project starts before the vessel puts to sea

Cargo plan, loads, port restrictions and insurer requirements — we work them out before chartering.
